Safiri Tours started with a simple frustration: too many trips to Kenya were being planned entirely from abroad, by people who'd never set foot in the Mara or watched the tide come in at Diani. We're a Nairobi-based team of guides, drivers, and planners who put together every itinerary ourselves, using the same routes, camps, and contacts we'd use for our own families.

Every tour on this site has been walked, driven, or sailed by someone on our team. We keep group sizes small, work with community-owned conservancies where we can, and stay reachable by phone throughout your trip — not just before you pay.

What we believe

Travel should leave a place better than it found it. We prioritize operators and lodges that reinvest in the communities and wildlife around them, and we're upfront about what's included in a price and what isn't.
